Temasek Life Sciences Laboratory (TLL) has launched its Annual Report 2024, titled “Feed. Fuel. Feel Better.”, marking a year of progress and collaboration as it focuses on the convergence of food security, sustainability, and well-being.

Key highlights for the financial year ended 31 March 2024 include:

• Received S$12 million worth of grant income
• Contributed 60 scientific papers in international peer-reviewed journals
• Made 7 scientific discoveries
• 168 interns, PhD students, and Postdocs trained

During the year, the institute forged new paths, built strong partnerships, and made strides towards the shared vision of creating a better future through innovation and research.

TLL was active in its external engagement with academia, research, industry, government, and philanthropic entities in and beyond Singapore.

As part of the Temasek Trust ecosystem, TLL deepened its collaborative efforts and expanded its reach. For example, TLL participated in the Philanthropy Asia Summit 2025, which provided a platform for action to showcase the Decarbonising Rice project.
